Special thanks to Luis Navarro and Thanh Nguyen for taking Ghazanfar Ghori and myself around Houston for some "native collecting" and snorkeling.

During our trip we visited landscape shop in Luling with interesting rocks and wood, collected some Potamogeton sp. in Blanco River on the north side of San Marcos, did snorkeling in San Marcos River, looked at the biggest Fields of Hygrophila polysperma, found some Fissidens sp, Hydrocotyle sp, Sagittaria sp, fields of Cabomba, visited Wetlands Park / Spring Lake in San Marcos pumping out approx. 150+ gallon of water each day. And .... ate some shrimp !
